Miss Adeline's Senior Pictures

Addie and I took a road trip down to Seattle to do her senior pictures. We first decided on Gas Works Park and found some great picture spots. Then we drove around Pioneer Square about 3 times before we finally found a parking spot in a garage that wasnt $20, as there was a Sounders game about to start. We walked around and found some awesome old brick and wrought iron and snapped some pics, oblivious to the people on the streets. On the way back towards home, I decided to stop at my hot spot near where I work in Kirkland for some more pics. I knew I would be doing more senior sessions there and I hadnt actually walked the site yet, and it ended up being my favorite spot! I am really happy with all we came up with!

Carper Family

I drove out to The Carper's beautiful home on a hot sunny day to take some pictures. We did some casual outdoor pictures of the whole family. I even took some pictures of their family dog! Madisan and Justin are adorable little blondies!

Brooklynn at 3 months!

Here is Miss Brooklynn at 3 months. We had lots of fun picking out out fits for her and propping her up like a big girl. I got lots of smiles and her and I had our own little side conversation going! Shes growing so fast! We will soon be doing her six month pictures and family pictures with mommy and daddy!

One of her little baby grins!

One of my favs! Her mommy brought this tub full of outfits and I took advantage of it! Now where can I find it to buy more in assorted colors??

I am normally not a fan of cropping pictures to an unprintable and unframeable size, but something about this picture was screaming 'crop me!'

Kaylee Jordyn

Snappin pics, Diva Style! :)

I did a spur of the moment shoot for my friends mom for her daughters (and also my very good friend of 24 years) birthday. I guess it wasn't as much of a 'shoot' as it was snapping a few quick pictures in my yard. I was in full bright sun, so Miss Kay is a little squinty, but we made it work. The beginning of the shoot made me giggle because Kaylee is a little diva, telling me she needed a rest after each shot, or giving me a 5 year old diva reason why she cant do it. It cracks me up because her mommy is so not a diva, but grammy tells me thats her Auntie Nenny (Jenny) coming out in her. She made sure that I liked her new sparkly purple nail polish she got especially for the pictures. Heres what we ended up with.

Nick

Heres my other senior shoot from last fall. This is my cousin Nick. His mom, also my cousin, Nikki, was the one who bought me my lighting kit for payment for the session. I couldnt thank her enough for that! I have really grown as a photographer because I have had the right equipment to get the job done! So I suppose some of my success wouldnt be possible without her :] Anyways, Nick went to Monroe High School, Home of the Bearcats. We went around to a few locations and got some really great pics! I have learned a lot from these 2 senior sessions as well as about 20 portrait sessions in the last year, and I have some really great ideas for this falls seniors!

Mikey Wayne

Sultan High School Home of the Turks

I have had lots of people asking about senior pictures, and since I havent had any on this site, I thought I would add a few from last fall. I had this slideshow saved on another site, so here goes. This is Mikey, and I have been close with him since his 1st birthday. I baby sat him as well as his younger brother and then they became my family. I was stoked to take his senior pictures! Hes off to college now. My boys just dont understand why we dont see him everywhere we go now!

Johnston Family

I met the Johnston family through my boys preschool this year. I absolutely love them all! I met up with them in their back yard and snapped a few quick shots, per their request. They also wanted some pictures of the two of them together since it had been many years. Like little boys do, Joey got bored of smiling and started to act like a goof. I know this very well from my own 5 and 4 year olds! I was really happy with how these all turned out partly because I am trying out my new photoshopping skills, as they are coming along quite nicely!

Such a good looking family
