Kaylee Jordyn

Snappin pics, Diva Style! :)

I did a spur of the moment shoot for my friends mom for her daughters (and also my very good friend of 24 years) birthday. I guess it wasn't as much of a 'shoot' as it was snapping a few quick pictures in my yard. I was in full bright sun, so Miss Kay is a little squinty, but we made it work. The beginning of the shoot made me giggle because Kaylee is a little diva, telling me she needed a rest after each shot, or giving me a 5 year old diva reason why she cant do it. It cracks me up because her mommy is so not a diva, but grammy tells me thats her Auntie Nenny (Jenny) coming out in her. She made sure that I liked her new sparkly purple nail polish she got especially for the pictures. Heres what we ended up with.

Nick

Heres my other senior shoot from last fall. This is my cousin Nick. His mom, also my cousin, Nikki, was the one who bought me my lighting kit for payment for the session. I couldnt thank her enough for that! I have really grown as a photographer because I have had the right equipment to get the job done! So I suppose some of my success wouldnt be possible without her :] Anyways, Nick went to Monroe High School, Home of the Bearcats. We went around to a few locations and got some really great pics! I have learned a lot from these 2 senior sessions as well as about 20 portrait sessions in the last year, and I have some really great ideas for this falls seniors!

Mikey Wayne

Sultan High School Home of the Turks

I have had lots of people asking about senior pictures, and since I havent had any on this site, I thought I would add a few from last fall. I had this slideshow saved on another site, so here goes. This is Mikey, and I have been close with him since his 1st birthday. I baby sat him as well as his younger brother and then they became my family. I was stoked to take his senior pictures! Hes off to college now. My boys just dont understand why we dont see him everywhere we go now!

Johnston Family

I met the Johnston family through my boys preschool this year. I absolutely love them all! I met up with them in their back yard and snapped a few quick shots, per their request. They also wanted some pictures of the two of them together since it had been many years. Like little boys do, Joey got bored of smiling and started to act like a goof. I know this very well from my own 5 and 4 year olds! I was really happy with how these all turned out partly because I am trying out my new photoshopping skills, as they are coming along quite nicely!

Such a good looking family

Baby Levi

This was my second infant session, and I am quite proud of it! Baby Levi is the little brother of one of my first portrait sessions ever in my home studio. Our intent was to not only get pictures of Levi, but with his big brother as well, but as any parent knows, babies and kids have minds of their own and we werent able to get any shots of the two brothers together. Levi is a beautiful baby! He was patient with all of our "posing" but eventually let us know when he had enough. I am so happy to have completed my second infant shoot and get the shots I did!

Baby footsies!

Levi's Daddy came up with this shot:) Nice job, Daddy!

Love how he put his arms around his dad's hand!

Love, love, LOVE this shot.

Snugglin with momma.

Miss Kennedi

Kennedi's mom and I go way back, so I was thrilled when they asked me to take her pictures. I hadn't gotten to meet the the little miss yet and she is a gem! She was so full of personality and at such a young age! She was a total goof and kept us laughing the whole time. And its not possible for her to be any cuter!

We're going on a picnic!

Beautiful baby blues.

This was the first picture I took, right when her mom put her dress on her and sat her down. I love it!

Hunter Elliana

This is the second time I have gotten to take Hunters pictures. Even after a day at the beach with her mom she was still all smiles! I just love taking her pictures! I am so blessed to have such great friends with wonderful children to take pictures of :]

All smiles, the cutie pie!

She's getting her first teeth! She was quite the drool monster. How I miss those times with my boys.

Hunter had her initials in her hand, of course, we helped her out a little with that!

First Pregnancy Shoot

For a while now I have been dying to do a pregnancy shoot. When I finally got to do one, my mind went blank with all my great ideas, and there was a little bit of awkward moments while I was thinking. Once we got going I think I was able to capture some really great moments. Dusty and Chris are having a little boy this month and I was really happy to have a part in preserving the memories of pregnancy. I wish I would have done something when I was having my boys. Many thanks to the two of them for letting me get my feet wet with them taking pregnancy portraits!

The parents to be, Dusty and Chris.

I absolutely love this precious shot of dad cradling the belly!

The Cox Family

I finally got the chance to take my good friends Liz and Shane's family pictures. We met up at Jennings Park in Marysville. I had never been there and I am excited I finally got to check it out! It was an evening photoshoot and the sun was starting to get low in the sky. We began with the photoshoot and I got to see just how busy 2 year old twin girls are! This whole time I completely underestimated them! They were not very interested in what we were trying to accomplish, but I think we still were able to get some great moments captured. Their 4 year old son did very well for us and sat quite nicely when we needed him to. This was a great learning experience for me and Im so greatful I got to do it!

A great shot crossing the bridge to the pond.

This ended up being a great shot of their family! It really showed all their different personalities!

Flower child! Too cute.

'Seriously, guys? I'd much rather be running amuck!'

The only moment I was able to capture one of the girls sitting at looking at the camera. Such a cutie!
